Our technicians are fully experienced in the removal of scratches and etched graffiti damage from shop fronts. Whether it is a small corner shop or a supermarket, we all understand how glass damage can impact on your potential customers’ viewing experience. We will effectively and efficiently remove any damage that you encounter.
Etched graffiti is primarily caused on purpose by vandals using glass cutters, carbide probes or spark plugs. However, pushchairs, bicycles and diamond rings can also leave etched damage in glass.
Acid etched graffiti is caused when vandals use hydrofluoric acid mixed with either shoe polish or acetone in a shoe cleaning dispensing bottle. This creates a much wider band of graffiti, sometimes coloured, which etches into the glass and forms a hard crust on the surface.
